2. Customize logo and welcome screen

You can create a custom logo and welcome screen for SIGNATUS by using prepared Microsoft Publisher templates for different aspect ratios. If Microsoft Publisher is not available, create PNG images with the required resolutions listed below.

File names must follow the required naming convention so that SIGNATUS can import them correctly.

2.1 Create logo and welcome screen #

Open the prepared template for the correct aspect ratio, insert the desired logo or image, change the background if needed, and export the result as a PNG file. You can also create the PNG files in any image editing software.

If screen rotation is enabled, prepare separate welcome screens for landscape and portrait orientation. The same template can be used for portrait mode with the aspect ratio reversed.

Aspect ratioExample devicesLogo resolutionWelcome screen resolution
4:3Samsung Tab A and similar tablets375 × 102 px1600 × 1200 px
16:10 / 16:9Most smartphones and tablets865 × 200 px4000 × 2500 px

Naming convention #

  • logo.png — logo
  • signatus_welcome.png — welcome screen for landscape orientation
  • signatus_welcome_portrait.png — welcome screen for portrait orientation

2.2 Import branding files #

Copy the logo and welcome screen PNG files into the following folder on the device:

\Tablet\Android\data\com.anasoft.signatus.app\files\Import

Restart the SIGNATUS application to apply the imported files.

2.3 Welcome screen setting #

The welcome screen can be turned off by setting the display time to 0 (zero) seconds. To display the welcome screen, check or update the display time in Administrator Tools.
